Overview
This species was described by W.L. Brown in 1958.

Identification
A notably strongly anteroposteriorly compressed node, the posterior face of the node is concave as seen from the side. The ventral petiolar process is unique, it is narrowed to a digitform apical portion.

Geographic distribution
Known only from New Caledonia

Natural history
Diurnal forager, on foliage and over rocks on the forest floor. Nests beneath stones.
